While June TV is on the quieter side, the film slate is picking up with some major releases heading for theaters. From the latest in the “John Wick” universe to a new original Pixar film and Brad Pitt teaming up with the director of “Top Gun: Maverick,” the beginning of summer looks like an ideally busy season.
Some festival favorites also hit theaters, such as “The Life of Chuck” and “Sorry, Baby,” which made their premieres at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival and the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, respectively. A broad spectrum of releases is headed our way, from true-blue 90s-inspired romances to significant action set pieces and easy entertainment for families.
