Celebrate May The Fourth With Two New Series On Disney+

May the Fourth be with you, “Star Wars” fans. In honor the “Star Wars Day,” Disney+ has two new “Star Wars” series premiering on the streamer today, along with new trailers for each to build up hype.

First up: “Star Wars: Visions” Volume 2, the next installment of animated shorts from animation studios across the globe. This series of shorts expands well beyond Volume 1’s penchant for anime, showcasing new studios from different regions of the globe and all-new animation styles.
“Star Wars: Visions” Volume 2 includes El Guiri’s “Sith,” Cartoon’s Saloon’s “Screecher’s Reach,” Punkrobot’s “In the Stars,” Aardman’s “I Am Your Mother,” Studio Mir’s “Journey to the Dark Head,” Studio La Cachette’s “The Spy Dancer,” 88 Pictures’ “The Bandits of Golak,” D’ART Shtajio’s “The Pit,” and Triggerfish’s “Aau’s Song.”
Next up, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures.” This kids series takes place two centuries before the events of “The Phantom Menace” and focuses on young Jedi learning the ways of the Force.

Set 200 years before “The Phantom Menace,” during the High Republic era, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” follows Jedi younglings as they study the ways of the Force, explore the galaxy, help citizens and creatures in need and learn valuable skills needed to become Jedi along the way.
“Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” stars Jamaal Avery, Jr, Juliet Donenfeld, Dee Bradley Baker, Emma Berman, Jonathan Lipow, and Piotr Michael.
James Waugh, Jacqui Lopez, and Josh Rimes serves as executive producers on the series. Michael Olson serves as showrunner and executive producer. Elliot M. Bour is supervising director on the series and co-producer. Jeanine Hodson also serves as producer, and Lamont Magee is a consulting producer. Lucasfilm co-produces “Young Jedi Adventures” with Wild Canary and Disney Junior.
