Quantumania Clip Makes Quantum Physics Into A Game [EXCLUSIVE]
May 10, 2023
Screen Rant is thrilled to present an exclusive new clip featuring Kathyrn Newton of Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania. The most recent Ant-Man film mixes real science with fantasy, taking Scott, Hope, Hank, Janet, and Cassie into the Quantum Realm. The movie features many actors reprising their roles, like Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, and Michelle Pfeiffer, alongside some new faces like The Good Place’s William Jackson Harper.
The core conflict of the film revolves around Kang the Conqueror, a character with many variations spread across different timelines. A version of Kang was first introduced in Loki, who explains there are countless more of his evil variants scattered across the universe. While the Quantum Realm itself is something Marvel fans were familiar with from previous films, Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania did a deep-dive into the mysterious locale more so than ever before.

More About Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania
Screen Rant’s exclusive clip centers around a segment with Kathryn Newton, who plays the now-teenage Cassie Lang in Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania. In the video, Newton chats with three scientists at The California Institute of Technology, playing a game they call 2 Lies And A Truth. The first round focuses on statements about quantum physics – which proves quite difficult – while the second is regarding trivia about the Marvel universe.
While Quantumania is obviously not a scientifically accurate film by any means, it does take inspiration from real-life quantum physics. Because of this, it’s quite interesting to see scientists approach the movie from a more literal perspective, especially since it’s such a complicated topic. Fans will get to return to the Quantum Realm themselves and enjoy new special features when Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania has its physical release later this month.
Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania is available on Digital now and will release on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD on May 16, and Disney Plus on May 17.
