Andrew Koji Returns For More Martial Arts Action In This Max Series
Jun 8, 2023
While the initial pitch for “Warrior” billed it as “based on the writings of Bruce Lee,” the martial arts action series has grown into something special thanks to the incredible, underrated cast and the smart writing. Now, “Warrior,” as it approaches its third season, is one of the best series on Max and should be required viewing for those looking for something a bit more unique on streaming.

Season 3 of “Warrior picks up where the last left off. With the race riots flipping Chinatown on its head last season, our favorite characters are now trying to pick up the pieces and figure out how to survive in this new normal. And as you might expect, there are tons of fights and spectacular action to be found in the drama.
The series features actors such as Andrew Koji, Joseph Taslim, and Dianne Doan. “Warrior” is created by Jonathan Tropper, who is probably best known as the co-creator of another incredible series that flew under the radar, “Banshee.” That is a series that is also currently on Max and is up there as one of the best action series of the past decade.
Season 3 of “Warrior” debuts on Max on June 29. You can watch the trailer below.
Here’s the synopsis:
In the wake of the race riots that upended Chinatown in season two, Mai Ling uses her government connections to consolidate power, while Ah Sahm and the Hop Wei must find new ways to survive.
