Part One Of Netflix’s Adaptation Of The Michael Connelly Book Series Arrives On July 6

Last year, Netflix‘s adaptation of Michael Connelly‘s hit book series “The Lincoln Lawyer” quickly won over critics and subscribers. So no surprise the streamer has big plans for Season 2 of the legal drama. Based on “The Fifth Witness,” the fourth installment in the book series, Netflix splits the all-new season in half, with the first part premiering next month and the second in August.

Manuel Garcia-Rulfo returns as Mickey Haller, Connelly’s lawyer hero whose latest case sees him defend a long-standing client against charges that she murdered a wealthy businessman.  
Here’s the official synopsis of the latest season of “The Lincoln Lawer,” courtesy of Netflix:
Mickey Haller, an iconoclastic idealist, runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln, as he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles. Based on the series of bestselling novels by renowned author Michael Connelly, the second season is based on the fourth book in The Lincoln Lawyer series, The Fifth Witness.
Other cast of “The Lincoln Lawyer” Season 2 includes Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, and Angus Sampson.  Krista Warner, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Lana Parilla, Yaya DaCosta, Matt Angel, and Angélica María round out the main cast.
“The Lincoln Lawyer” is just one of the latest shows from TV extraordinary David E. Kelley.  Ted Humphrey serves as showrunner on the series along with Dailyn Rodriguez. Kelley, Humphrey, and Rodriguez also lead the executive producing team with Connelly, Ross Fineman, Barry Jossen, and Tana Jamieson.
Part One of “The Lincoln Lawyer” Season 2 premieres on Netflix on July 6, with Part Two arriving on August 3. Watch a trailer of the series below.
