Spider-Verse Fan Art Imagines Live-Action Miles Morales With Tom Holland’s Spider-Man
Jun 22, 2023
With Sony reportedly developing a Miles Morales live-action movie, the iconic Marvel hero gets imagined in a new Spider-Verse fan art with a popular fan choice alongside Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. One of the Marvel characters who continue to be one of Hollywood’s most popular superheroes is Spider-Man, from Holland’s version in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the ongoing animated Spider-Verse franchise with Miles. The latter recently made his way back to the big screen with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which will be followed by Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse in 2024.

As popular as Peter and Miles are on their own, fans are constantly hoping to see the two web-slingers come together at some point in live-action. One such fan is No More Mutants, who recently imagined Holland’s Peter Parker together with Black-ish’s Miles Brown as the live-action iteration of Miles.
As a matter of fact, Miles Brown has expressed interest in playing Miles Morales in a live-action movie over the last few years, both on social media and in interviews. The 18-year-old actor, who is Afro-Latino, has since then had many fans online supporting the idea.

Will Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Meet Miles Morales In Spider-Man 4
Following the massive success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man 4 is in development over at Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios. While the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike has caused the project to hit pause for now, Holland has been talking about wanting to introduce Miles to the MCU at some point. This comes in the midst of Holland also having talked about how much longer he will actually continue playing Spider-Man.
Since Miles already exists in the MCU through Spider-Man: Homecoming, it begs the question if Holland’s character might be getting closer to crossing paths with him, perhaps in Spider-Man 4. Miles would be in his teen years at this point, as Peter will be an adult by the time Holland’s Spider-Man 4 comes out. That could set up a mentor/mentee dynamic, with Peter now being far into his journey as Spider-Man. This would make especial sense since Spider-Man: No Way Home’s ending leaves Holland’s Peter Parker with far fewer allies, making space for a formal introduction of Miles into the MCU.
If the Spider-Verse franchise has proven anything, it is that there can be multiple web-slingers at the same time. That could easily be adapted for the MCU if Peter and Miles operate as Spider-Man at the same time, in a similar fashion as the Insomniac Spider-Man video games have explored over the last few years. Hopefully, Spider-Man 4 will be the launching pad for Miles in the MCU and add another beloved web-crawler to the world of live-action.
