25 Boomers We Absolutely Love, From Dolly Parton to Eddie Murphy

Say what you will about the Baby Boomers, but they aren’t all Karens. There are at least 25 of them who actually rock, and they include Dolly Parton, Tom Hanks, Eddie Murphy, Nicholas Cage, Angela Bassett, and all of the rest of the people on our list of Boomers in the movie industry that we absolutely love. “Okay, Boomer” — a phrase typically used as a flippant response to someone acting outdated or blaming the economy on Millennials’ Starbucks addictions — doesn’t apply to these lovely humans. Talented, memorable, and often transgressive, some of the most beloved stars of our time were born between the years 1946 and 1964. And though we can’t speak for all Boomers, here are a good chunk of them that deserve our respect — and that film buffs of just about any age can appreciate.
