Jan 15, 2023
It’s official: everything Angela Bassett turns to gold! Angela just won her second Golden Globe and made history all at the same time!
She made history by becoming the very first actor from the MCU to receive a Golden Globe acting nomination for a Marvel feature film. And, now, Angela added to that historic moment by being the first to win in that category.
Angela won the hearts of millions with her emotional performance as Ramonda, the sovereign queen mother of Wakanda.
This is Angela’s second Golden Globe nomination and her second win. She first won back in 1994 for Best Actress in a Motion Picture for her incredible portrayal of Tina Turner in What’s Love Got to Do with It.
Angela truly deserves every award coming her way! Congratulations to her and the entire Black Panther family!
