Black Adam Post Credits Scene Details Reportedly Leak

Jan 18, 2023

Details of the Black Adam post credits scene have reportedly been revealed, and should have DC fans super excited.

Warner Bros. Pictures

Potential SPOILERS for Black Adam lie ahead.

An alleged leak may have revealed details of the post credits scene that will be tagged onto the end of the upcoming DC outing, Black Adam. And it brings a certain Man of Steel back into the fray. Revealing via social media courtesy of notable scooper MyTimeToShineHello, the final moments of Black Adam will reportedly tease a confrontation between Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Black Adam and Superman, played once again by Justice League star Henry Cavill.

According to the scoop, the post credits scene will begin with Black Adam being issued a warning by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). Of course, this warning from a mere human does not have the desired impact, with Waller resorting to bringing in the big guns. Thus, from the smoke emerges Henry Cavill’s Superman, an entrance that would no doubt result in all manner of cheering and applause.

The leaked details continue, revealing that the addition of Henry Cavill as Superman is a very late addition to Black Adam. Which would track with recent reports that Johnson himself demanded that Cavill make a comeback.

While none of this is currently confirmed, it would make a lot of sense for Black Adam to bring back Cavill’s Man of Steel, and would certainly end the movie on a major crowd-pleasing moment.

Black Adam is Due to Hit Screens Next Week

Warner Bros. Pictures

Black Adam will finally introduce Dwayne Johnson as the titular antihero. After nearly five thousand years of imprisonment, Black Adam, an antihero from the ancient city of Kahndaq, is unleashed into modern times. His brute tactics and way of justice attract the attention of the Justice Society of America, who tries to stop his rampage, teach him how to be a hero more than a villain, and must team up to stop a force more powerful than Adam himself.

“I am 100% committed to not only Black Adam but then expanding the Black Adam universe, the DC universe,” Johnson said of his passion for bringing Black Adam to life on the big screen, before assuring fans that he will listen to them and give them what they want. Such as Henry Cavill as Superman, perhaps. “I hear the fans, we all do, and I pick up everything they’re putting down. It doesn’t get by me, it doesn’t get by these guys [producer Hiram Garcia, producer Beau Flynn, director Jaume Collet-Serra]. This is the beginning, hopefully, fingers crossed, of a very long storytelling road that Black Adam is the anchoring jet fuel now that will then push and press this universe out.”

Alongside Johnson as Black Adam, the movie will introduce audiences to the Justice Society of America, a superhero team made up of Aldis Hodge as Carter Hall AKA Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Albert “Al” Rothstein AKA Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Maxine Hunkel AKA Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Kent Nelson AKA Doctor Fate. Black Adam also stars Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Mohammed Amer, Viola Davis, James Cusati-Moyer and Uli Latukefu.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines, and Sohrab Noshirvani, Black Adam is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 21, 2022, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
