Mr. Throwback (Season 1)
Stream on August 8

Mr. Throwback is a unique mockumentary comedy starring NBA legend Steph Curry as a silly version of himself. The show follows a down-on-his-luck memorabilia dealer named Danny (Adam Pally), who’s been looking for redemption since the glory days of his middle school basketball career. Having played the game with Curry in the sixth grade, he was supposedly better than the four-time champion when they were kids.

While they used to be best friends, it’s been a while since they’ve crossed paths. The series kicks off as Danny aims to reunite and reconcile with his former teammate, who then ropes Danny into making a documentary to stage the ultimate comeback. Unfortunately, such a feat might be easier said than done. The show rounds out its hilarious cast with performances by Ego Nwodim and Ayden Mayeri. Mr. Throwback is streaming on Aug. 8.

Bel-Air (Season 3)
Stream on August 15

Bel-Air is a modern-day reboot of Will Smith’s classic sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. A Peacock original, the updated one-hour drama series offers a new perspective on Will’s (Jabari Banks) complex move from the streets of West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the wealthy gated mansions of Bel-Air, California. While Will’s new neighborhood is much safer than the one he left behind, he struggles to figure out where he belongs. As his worlds collide and he’s given a second chance to improve his future, he’s conflicted about how to reconcile his emotions. As he navigates the conflicts and biases in a new world vastly different from the one he’s used to, he’s forced to figure out his own path forward.

As the series enters its third season, school is out for the summer, and Will has seemingly found his place in Bel-Air. After becoming a part of the Banks family, he’s been given a new perspective on life and has realized his new privilege affords him the opportunity to dream bigger than ever before. As a result, he now has the chance to lean into his interests with full force. As he makes an exciting pivot, he discovers a partner in Carlton (Olly Sholotan).

Meanwhile, Viv (Cassandra Freeman) and Phil (Adrian Holmes) are confronted with challenges at work and home and must make a concerted effort to steady the rocky waters. The series also stars Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, and Jimmy Akingbola as Hilary, Ashley, and Geoffrey, all of whom have their own personal hurdles in the upcoming season.
