Mr. Throwback – Adam Pally Interview

Aug 8, 2024

The very funny Adam Pally (Happy Endings, The Mindy Project) spoke with MovieWeb’s Greg Archer about starring in and producing Peacock’s new mockumentary series, Mr. Throwback. Pally discussed basketball and working with Steph Curry, and playing a sad sack out for redemption. Mr. Throwback premieres Aug. 8 with all six episodes on Peacock.

The comedy mockumentary series Mr. Throwback follows a down-on-his-luck memorabilia dealer who looks for redemption by reuniting with his sixth-grade teammate, NBA legend Steph Curry. The series also stars Adam Pally (Knuckles, Happy Endings), Ego Nwodim (Saturday Night Live, Players) and Ayden Mayeri (Jackpot, I Love That For You).

Mr. Throwback was created by Executive Producers/Writers David Caspe (Happy Endings, Black Monday), Matthew Libman and Daniel Libman (Happy Endings, Champaign ILL) and Adam Pally, with Erick Peyton (Stephen Curry: Underrated) executive producing for Unanimous Media.
