Lupita Nyong’o And Viola Davis Remember Chadwick Boseman
On the fourth anniversary of Chadwick Boseman’s death, his former costars are sharing touching tributes.
Viola Davis worked with Chadwick on the 2014 film Get on Up as well as the 2020 film Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom — his last role.
“Authenticity, passion and love were all woven in one extraordinary human…..CHADWICK BOSEMAN!” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post, where she shared pictures of the late actor.
“You live on in me. Your flame will never be extinguished. ,” she concluded.
Lupita Nyong’o also shared a beautiful message remembering Chadwick today. Together, they played Nakia and T’Challa in Marvel’s 2018 superhero film Black Panther.
In the caption of an Instagram post, the actor shared a quote: “‘Grief never ends. But it changes. It is a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith. It’s the price of love.’ -unknown.”
“Remembering Chadwick Boseman. Forever,” she concluded.
