Timothée Chalamet Hinted At His Smelliest Costar
After pulling up to the London premiere on a Lime bike (and getting fined for it), Timmy and his costar, Edward Norton, stopped off at BBC Radio 1 this week, where they played a fun game involving British school children asking A-listers silly questions.
As the game goes, a 5-year-old girl asked the actors to reveal the identity of “the smelliest actor” they’d ever worked with. And while Edward brushed off the question by jokingly giving Timothée’s name, his costar actually had an answer to share.
“I’m not gonna say any names ‘cause, you know, that would just be mean,” Timmy began. “But I did work on a Western years ago, and somebody was — quote, unquote — ‘in character’ the whole time, and, uh, it was something.”
When quizzed on the nature of his mystery costar’s dedicated method acting approach, Timothée said that “they just weren’t washing,” presumably to play a character who was meant to be a little…dirty.
So, with all that in mind, what do we know about this person? They’re a male method actor who appeared in a Western movie with Timothée Chalamet and was married to a woman at the time. And it’s definitely not Casey Affleck.
Well, I’ll leave that with you. I just looked through Timothée’s IMDb and already have a pretty strong theory about who this person is…but let me know your thoughts.
