“F Marry Kill”: New Lucy Hale True Crime Comedy
Calling all true-crime lovers! There’s a new comedy thriller out now starring Lucy Hale, and you’re gonna wanna put it on your watch list.
F Marry Kill follows Eva Vaugh (Lucy Hale), a true crime junkie who must figure out which of her three dates is a serial killer targeting women on dating apps.
Everything kicks off at Eva’s 30th birthday dinner when her friends shove her into the world of dating apps, where she suddenly finds herself at the center of a real-life murder case.
As new details about the murders around their city are revealed on her favorite podcast — Mark My Murder — she realizes that one of the three men she’s dating might be the infamous “Swipe Right Killer.”
With her detective skills and mounting evidence, Eva and her best friends attempt to figure out which of her three dates is a fuckboy, a potential husband, and…a killer.
According to the director, Laura Murphy, “F Marry Kill taps into that very real ‘risk vs. reward’ gamble that we all, especially women, take when venturing into the world of online dating. How many times have we joked to a friend before a date, ‘Hope he’s not a serial killer!’ or ‘If you don’t hear from me, I guess you’ll know who did it,’ while simultaneously consuming hundreds of hours of true crime podcasts and Dateline episodes?”
