Sydney Sweeney And Jonathan Davino Post-Breakup Outing Explained
“She didn’t feel right about it,” an insider claimed, suggesting that the 27-year-old is “not ready to settle down” and was “overwhelmed” by the idea of their wedding. “They only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off. They didn’t split because there is no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now.”
As it stands, Sydney hasn’t directly commented on the breakup rumors. However, fans noticed that she recently deleted a photograph of her and Jonathan kissing from her Instagram, adding fuel to the fire.
But, things got slightly confusing over the weekend when Sydney and Jonathan were photographed together in Los Angeles on Sunday, bringing the breakup reports into question.
But, despite what it may seem, a new report from Entertainment Tonight suggests that a reconciliation probably won’t be happening anytime soon.
For context, People already reported that Sydney and Jonathan were only together for about an hour on Sunday, during which time they sat and talked before leaving together. According to a source who spoke to ET this week, it’s possible that Jonathan may have been trying to “work things out” during the meeting.
“Jonathan would love to get Sydney back, and he is trying to work things out,” the insider claimed, adding that they are currently “friends” but that “he is hoping for more.” As for Sydney, the source claims she “is not interested in a reconciliation at the moment.”
Last week, the Euphoria star made a public appearance at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, where she was notably not wearing her engagement ring. As we said before, she’s not addressed any of this, but we’ve reached out to her rep for comment.
