‘A Working Man’ Passes Brad Pitt’s ‘Snatch’ To Become One of Jason Statham’s 20 Biggest Movies Ever

Apr 23, 2025

A Working Man made its debut on digital platforms at the end of last week, but that hasn’t stopped the film from continuing to earn at the box office. Jason Statham’s latest action vehicle now sits at $36 million at the domestic box office and $51 million internationally for a worldwide cumulative total of $87 million. While this is still significantly less than The Beekeeper, the latest action movie collaboration between Statham and director David Ayer, it is enough to make it one of Statham’s 20 highest-grossing movies ever. Despite mixed reactions from fans and critics — 49% score from critics and 87% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes — A Working Man has passed Snatch, which also stars Brad Pitt, to reach Statham’s top 20 list.

“You ain’t a cop. You’re a working man.”

If A Working Man can scrounge together another $2 million at the global box office, it will move past Transporter 2 to become the 19th-highest-grossing Jason Statham movie of all time, but it’s unlikely it will climb much higher. After passing Transporter 2, the film would need another $15 million to move past Wrath of Man, the 2021 action thriller directed by Guy Ritchie that concluded its theatrical run with $103 million. Another $15 million likely isn’t in the cards for A Working Man as it loses more theaters by the day and is already available on digital platforms. The four highest-grossing movies of Statham’s career all belong to the Fast & Furious franchise, where he plays Deckard Shaw. The first non-F&F movie on the list of Statham’s highest-grossing films is The Meg, the 2018 kaiju thriller that sees Statham’s Jonas Taylor face off against a prehistoric shark.
What Jason Statham Movies Are on Streaming?
