First Steps’ Reveals Full Galactus Costume in New Lego Set

May 3, 2025

Fantastic Four: First Steps will finally introduce Galactus to the MCU (or at least one of his variants) after a decade of waiting. From the trailers and marketing materials, all fans have seen of the Devourer of Worlds so far is the back of his helmet and one of his boots. But, Galactus’ full design for First Steps has finally been revealed. Although, it’s not the first-look fans were probably hoping for. Was Ralph Ineson’s Galactus completely unveiled in a new character poster, or a teaser trailer? Nope. Fans know what Galactus will look like in First Steps thanks to… LEGO.
The official Fantastic Four: First Step LEGO set featuring Galactus was leaked online by @BlogsBrick on X (formerly Twitter). The set was reportedly found on shelves in an unnamed retail store. The set includes all four members of The Fantastic Four — Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), The Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), and The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) — fighting Galactus.

‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Tie-In Comic Might Confirm Some Major MCU Fan Theories

Marvel Studios and Marvel Comics are publishing a tie-in one-shot comic, available in July 2025, that hints at some significant reveals.

The design of Galactus in the LEGO set appears to be what we will see on the big screen in July. The helmet and boots, which were shown in various trailers and teasers, are identical in the set, so it is likely that the rest of the costume will be similar to what appears in the final cut of First Steps. Unlike the painfully unfaithful Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, this version of Galactus is far more comics accurate, wearing his full purple suit with his symbol emboldened on the chest. We’re just hoping that Galactus isn’t accurately to scale with The Fantastic Four in the set, otherwise he’s far smaller than we were expecting.
‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Releases This July

Fantastic Four: First Steps is set in an alternate timeline to the core MCU. The movie is set in a retro-futuristic 1960, where the titular team have already gained their powers and achieved recognition throughout the world… meaning it’s not another origin story. The team are expected to journey to the main MCU timeline by the end of the film, as they have been confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, which releases in theaters in May 2026.
The MCU has gotten off to a rocky start this year, with Captain America: Brave New World dividing critics and audiences while underperforming at the box office. Thunderbolts* is on track to put the long-running franchise back on its feet. But, according to Pedro Pascal, First Steps will blow them both out of the water. “I believe we are the Marvel movie of the year,” the actor said in a recent interview. “I believe we are the one to watch. I believe that this will go down in history as one of the ones that started a new tide of successful storytelling for the company. Sort of in the same way the Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther hit.”
