Gints Zilbalodis’s “Flow” took the Animated Feature Film Academy Award while four of the International Film nominees debuted at Cannes. “The Substance,” a stylish, out-of-the-box horror film, led to an unexpected Demi Moore renaissance and grossed $77 million worldwide.
