Jun 9, 2025

Chris Pratt‘s got himself in a hairy situation.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star is unrecognizable after undergoing a shocking transformation. The 45-year-old revealed his new, bearded look on social media June 6 while having lunch, adding that his new scruffy style is for his latest TV role.

“I’m on the set of The Terminal List season two,” Chris, who reprises his role of U.S. Navy SEAL James Reese in the Amazon Prime Video series, said in a video posted on his Instagram June 6. “And I just want to say, isn’t this hair and makeup incredible? My team does such an awesome job.”

Raising a hand with fake blood on it, he continued, “I don’t want to tell you what I’ve been up to, but there’s blood on my hands. Okay? There’s blood on my hands.”

Chris went on to further praise the hair and makeup crew’s work. “This mustache, this hair, is like, a wig, it’s a fake beard. It looks freaking incredible.”
