Tarek El Moussa‘s family trip took a turn after an incident in Las Vegas.
The Flip or Flop star received a citation for battery by authorities following an incident with another man late in the evening on June 5. Noting that Tarek was not arrested, a source told E! News that “he was protecting his elderly father.”
The Las Vegas Police Department further shared insight into the apparent altercation, which took place just after 11 p.m. local time, noting, “On June 5, 2025, LVMPD officers responded to a battery incident in the 3300 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard,” authorities said in a statement to E! E! News has reached out to Tarek’s rep but has not received a comment.
Tarek had been in Las Vegas with wife Heather Rae El Moussa and both of their parents for a speaking engagement, according to the Selling Sunset alum’s glimpse inside the Sin City trip on social media.
