Britney Spears Posted A Fiery Message About Her Exes

Britney Spears was serious when she said “Don’t you know that you’re toxic?” in 2003.

Now, two years after Britney and Sam Asghari’s divorce, after only 14 months of marriage, she shared a now-deleted message about two unspecified exes on social media while expressing her ability to connect with animals.

“I’m so turned off by humanity and the way people have literally … I have no words !!!” Britney began in the June 10 post.

“I dated two fucking complete assholes,” she said, noting she had an “extremely shady week.”

“I realized I loved their dogs more than them and I think it’s because their dogs bowed to me every time I entered the room!!!”

“Now the guys were of course cruel humans that never even acknowledged me and never held my hand in the car for 6 years !!!” Britney added. “I choose animals over people anyday!!!”

Britney’s had several high-profile relationships over the years, most notably with Justin Timberlake from 1999–2002.

Then, she married her backup dancer, Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two sons, Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden, 18. They divorced in 2007.

In 2016, Britney met Sam Asghari on the music video set for “Slumber Party,” and they were married in June 2022. In August 2023, Sam filed for divorce.

On a June 2 episode of the Trading Secrets podcast with Bachelor alum Jason Tartick, Sam spoke about his divorce from Britney, saying he “wanted her to have a prenup.”

“I wanted to make sure she’s protected, because throughout her life, everybody — I don’t know one person that’s ever been in her life that didn’t take advantage of her,” Sam continued. “It’s very sad. I wanted to make sure that I’m the person that don’t do that.”

Sam said he doesn’t get mad at the fans or the public for their speculation about his relationship with Britney. “Looking from an outside perspective,” Sam added. “I see there’s an age difference, there’s a fame difference, there’s this, there’s that. But realistically, we met as costars.”

While it’s not clear if Sam’s recent podcast appearance triggered Britney’s response or which exes she was talking about, someone was toxic, and she doesn’t want a taste of that poison paradise anymore.
