More information is emerging about Trigg Kiser’s heartbreaking death.
Almost one month after influencer Emilie Kiser and husband Brady Kiser’s 3-year-old died May 18 from an accidental drowning in the family’s pool, police search warrant applications have shed more light on the events that led to the tragedy.
According to the applications, granted to USA Today affiliate The Arizona Republic by Maricopa County Superior Court judges, Brady told police he was watching the couple’s son Theodore, 2 months, at the time of Trigg’s accident, losing sight of his elder son for three to five minutes before finding him floating in the family’s backyard pool on May 12.
Brady told police, per the outlet, he and the boys were home alone at the time and that Emilie had been out with friends. According to Brady’s statements to police, Brady saw Trigg playing by the pool, which police records noted was “not uncommon.” Brady reportedly told police the pool normally had a protective cover on it.
