Mondo Reveals Its Awesome MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE Trap Jaw 1/6 Scale Action Figure — GeekTyrant

Mar 9, 2023

Mondo has released its latest figure in its Masters of the Universe toyline… the villainous warrior Trap Jaw! This was one of my favorite villains in the franchise, and this action figure is so damn cool! They did such a wonderful job with this figure, but all of the figures in this toyline have been great! Here’s a little background history regarding Trap Jaw:Kronis was Trap Jaw’s original name (he was one of Keldor’s henchmen). Keldor transformed into Skeletor and became more and more unstable by the day. Kronis grew tired of this and decided to leave Skeletor’s group and form his own army.  Naturally, Skeletor did not take too kindly to this. The two battled, and as a result, Skeletor punched Kronis so hard that it destroyed his jaw and arm. Seeing more use out of Kronis, Skeletor informed Tri-Klops to transform him, turning Kronis into the insane Trap Jaw!  Mondo’s Trap Jaw can be rebuilt as Kronis, as it comes with an interchangeable pre-Trap Jaw head and arm. Trap Jaw comes with two different heads, one with the classic toy-styled jaw, and another with a mega-Mondo jaw. Freshly escaped from Infinita, the psychotic interdimensional cyborg finally cracks our MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE 1:6 scale figure line. The Wizard of Weapons joins our other formidable Evil Warriors including Scareglow, Mer-Man and Faker. Complete with 30 points of articulation and an extensive array of accessories, plus a fully swappable Kronis head, Classic head and Kronis arm!The accessories include: Mondo Jaw Head, Kronis Head, Kronis Right Arm, Classic Jaw Head, Removable Shoulder Armor and Chest Harness, Right Mech Arm, Spiked Mace Weapon, Faux Fur Loin Cloth, Mech Arm Articulated Claw, Mech Arm Hook, Mech Arm Grapple Hook with String, Mech Arm Crossbow, Mech Arm Fly Swatter, and Mech Arm Blaster. Mondo begins preorders next Tuesday, March 7th, with a 48-hour window to place yours. He costs $235, with an option of a four-payment plan. Check out more details here.
