Donald Trump’s True Feelings About ‘South Park’ Reportedly Revealed

Nov 28, 2025

South Park has been taking aim at Donald Trump over the last two seasons, from centering episodes around mocking his physical appearance to storylines involving the character’s graphic sexual relationships with Satan and J.D. Vance. While the POTUS, 79, hasn’t been nearly as outspoken against the Comedy Central series as he has been about criticism from late-night talk show hosts and news networks, on a recent installment of The Daily Beast Podcast, former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci claimed to know exactly how Trump feels about the animated series. “They hate the satire,” he told podcast host Joanna Coles. “Trump does not find it funny, trust me.” Scaramucci also suggested that Trump hasn’t spoken out against South Park as often because he’s more focused on fighting against what is said about him and his administration on the news versus the comedy-stylings of a satirical television show.
“His attitude is he wants to go after the news. If they’re putting him on ’60 Minutes’ and they’ve muted all of these left-leaning journalists that attack him, that’s OK. And if they’ve got some joker making animation videos of him and Vance in bed with each other — which was really funny by the way — what’s the big deal? You know what I mean?”
Comedian Patton Oswalt also shared his own theories on the subject during a sit-down on The Last Laugh podcast, speculating that Trump hasn’t targeted South Park more because the show gets stellar ratings. “Nothing shuts Trump up like money,” he said at the time. “Trump can only be so angry at that, because what Trump ultimately will respect, even if it doesn’t respect him, is something where the numbers are through the roof, and the money is through the roof. He can’t look at South Park and see how brilliant it is, and he can’t look at something like John Oliver and see how equally brilliant it is. All he can think of in terms of, look at this guy’s numbers, look at their numbers, and that’s the only way he sees the world.
‘South Park’ to Air New Thanksgiving Episode

Paramount

Comedy Central has officially confirmed that the upcoming Wednesday, Nov. 26, episode will finally bring Thanksgiving to South Park! According to the logline, the town’s “annual Turkey Trot turns chaotic when Cartman uses questionable cutting-edge science to win the race.” As Cartman wreaks havoc on South Park, it’s unclear what wild antics President Trump, Satan, Vice President J.D. Vance and other fictionalized members of the administration will be getting up to at the White House. However, as Season 28 prepares to come to a close on Wednesday, Dec. 10, the show will undoubtedly have to address Satan’s ongoing pregnancy and the upcoming birth of the Antichrist. Catch the newest episodes of South Park on Comedy Central on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, or watch it streaming the next day on Paramount+.
