How to Rob a Bank is making its heists viral. Directed by John Wick filmmaker David Leitch, the upcoming action movie stars Nicholas Hoult as the leader of a group of bank robbers who broadcast their crimes online. Zoë Kravitz, Pete Davidson, Anna Sawai, Rhenzy Feliz, Christian Slater, Tati Gabrielle, Young Mazino, and John C. Reilly round out the cast. Amazon MGM Studios has released a new How to Rob a Bank trailer, with Hoult’s Ryan quite literally teaching the internet how to pull off a robbery. His crew’s online show turns them into viral stars, but unsurprisingly, broadcasting their crimes also catches the FBI’s attention.

The new footage leans heavily into that unusual setup. Ryan and his crew are not exactly shy about what they do, breaking down their robberies for an online audience while handing some of the stolen money back to everyday people and charities. Their Robin Hood approach quickly wins them fans, even as the FBI tries to figure out how to stop them. That task falls partly to Reagan Gardner (Kravitz), a software engineer recruited by Agent West (Reilly) to help track the group down. Meanwhile, Ryan appears to have a much more personal reason for his biggest target, with the trailer teasing a past connection to the bank run by Christian Slater’s Walton.

For Leitch, How to Rob a Bank is another return to the kind of big action set pieces he knows well. After making his feature directorial debut alongside Chad Stahelski with John Wick, he went on to direct Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, Bullet Train, and The Fall Guy. This time, the car chases and shootouts come with a very modern problem, as the criminals happen to also be influencers.

The movie continues a busy run for Hoult. He recently played Lex Luthor opposite David Corenswet in Superman and has already set a release date for Superman: Man of Tomorrow. How to Rob a Bank was previously set to arrive on September 4 before being pushed back two months. It will now hit theaters on November 13, putting Leitch’s latest action movie right in the middle of the busy holiday season.
