Joaquin Phoenix Meets Gaga’s Harley Quinn In Fan-Made Joker 2 Trailer
Apr 10, 2023
Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck meets Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn in a new fan-made Joker: Folie à Deux trailer. Todd Phillips’ Joker franchise is going forward following the success of the 2019 Elseworlds installment. Joker explored Batman’s most iconic villain becoming the Clown Prince of Crime, but Arthur’s story is only just beginning as Joker: Folie à Deux is currently in production.
The highly anticipated Elseworlds sequel will see the introduction of Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. With filming still going on, Screen Culture recently did a Joker: Folie à Deux fan-made trailer as a proof of concept.
The trailer imagines Arthur coming into contact with Harley and how their relationship begins in this universe. Taking place after the events of Joker, Harley bonds with Arthur before becoming his infamous partner.

Everything We Know About Joker 2
Joker: Folie à Deux is taking a different route from the first installment. Phillips’ sequel will be a psychological musical, hence the major casting of Lady Gaga as Harley. The title translates to “madness of two,” alluding to both Arthur and Harley’s coming shared experiences. Set photos and videos have shown several glimpses of Lady Gaga’s Harley, including a scene at the infamous stairs from Joker.
The only other Joker cast member who is returning for the sequel is Zazie Beetz as Sophie Dumond. Thus far, Joker: Folie à Deux has added several new cast members in mystery roles. The list includes Brendan Gleeson, Jacob Lofland, Harry Lawley, and Cathrine Keener. Harvey Dent may or may not be appearing in Joker 2 following a set photo teasing his presence in the movie.
Joker: Folie à Deux’s musical approach will make the sequel stand out from most comic book movies. With Lady Gaga as Harley, it will be fascinating to see what she does with the iconic DC villainess. Hopefully, it won’t be long until a Joker: Folie à Deux trailer comes out once filming is done.
