Hit Fantasy RPG LIVE A LIVE is Coming to PC and PlayStation — GeekTyrant
Apr 11, 2023
Live A Live is a popular RPG that was released on the SNES way back in the day, albeit never in the West. Then, Square Enix brought the game to the entire world via Nintendo Switch. I’ve heard really good things about the game and it looks like even more people will be able to enjoy it with the recent announcement that it’s releasing on more platforms. Last week, it was revealed that Live A Live will be released this month on PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam.LIVE A LIVE will offer players the freedom to explore eight different stories with eight different characters, each set within different time periods spanning from a pre-historic era to the Wild West, and more. Each unique chapter will offer players a range of different gameplay mechanics to master, such as stealth, suspense and trap placement, all of which center around LIVE A LIVE’s turn based battle system. Players will also be able to tailor their gameplay adventure to their preference, the episodic story format gives players the freedom to complete each chapter from start to finish in any order they choose, or even play through a little of each chapter in parallel at the same time. The HD-2D remake of Live A Live is produced by the original version’s game director, Takashi Tokita and also offers a rearranged version of the game’s soundtrack under the supervision of the original composer, Yoko Shimomura. Excited gamers will be able to play the game on the new platforms starting April 27 and a playable demo is now available on both platforms as well. I’m very tempted to give this game a go on PC. What platform will you be playing it on?
