The sound quality, which is pretty much the most important part of the headset, is very good. The difference between the lows and highs is kind on the ears while still thrilling in any game. I wish there was a bit more bass overall, but for the price point, it is quite acceptable.Along with the output of sound, a gaming headset needs to have a quality mic for friends to be able to hear your yells over the blare of shotguns and grenades. The mic quality is about as clear as any cell phone from the last two or three years. The quality is very steady and good, but the ability to pick up subtle sounds or a quieter user is a bit off, so just make sure to not mumble a bunch when in a firefight.
