Heather Graham’s Boogie Nights Nude Scene Was Terrifying
You’ve seen Heather Graham in tons of things — that’s just how extensive her acting career has been.
One of Heather’s more well-known roles was in Paul Thomas Anderson’s classic 1997 film, Boogie Nights, which chronicles the adult film industry in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Heather filmed a nude scene for the movie alongside fellow cast member Mark Wahlberg — and now she’s opening up about how the experience was for her back then.
In a recent interview with Yahoo Entertainment, Heather explained that Boogie Nights represented her “first time” filming a nude scene, and she was “so nervous” about doing so on camera.
“But at that point in my career I was also like, ‘Beggars can’t be choosers,'” she recalled. “It was a great script and Paul was an amazing talent.”
“I had a great time making that movie even though it was terrifying doing a nude scene.”
Heather also referenced Mark’s own “nude” scene in the film, which involved using a prosthetic penis. “He’s wearing a fake penis,” she said, “So it’s not exactly the same.”
