Aaron Paul, Salma Hayek, Kate Mara, Michael Cera & More Join The Anthology Series
Apr 26, 2023
The most beloved anthology series on TV, “Black Mirror,” is finally returning to Netflix for Season 6. And in a new teaser, it looks like the humor, darkness, and satire are all still intact.
Though we do see quite a bit of new footage from “Black Mirror” Season 6 in the teaser, there isn’t much in the way of plot to understand. The teaser serves as a, well, tease for what’s to come in the latest batch of stories. However, those hoping the series would attract more huge stars for the new episodes, you’re in luck. The cast for Season 6 of the anthology series includes Aaron Paul, Anjana Vasan, Annie Murphy, Auden Thornton, Ben Barnes, Clara Rugaard, Daniel Portman, Danny Ramirez, Himesh Patel, John Hannah, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Michael Cera, Monica Dolan, Myha’la Herrold, Paapa Essiedu, Rob Delaney, Rory Culkin, Salma Hayek Pinault, Samuel Blenkin, and Zazie Beetz.

In an interview with Netflix, writer-creator Charlie Brooker talked about wanting to take chances with Season 6 of “Black Mirror.”
“Partly as a challenge, and partly to keep things fresh for both me and the viewer, I began this season by deliberately upending some of my own core assumptions about what to expect,” he explained. “Consequently, this time, alongside some of the more familiar ‘Black Mirror’ tropes we’ve also got a few new elements, including some I’ve previously sworn blind the show would never do, to stretch the parameters of what ‘a “Black Mirror” episode’ even is. The stories are all still tonally ‘Black Mirror’ through-and-through — but with some crazy swings and more variety than ever before.”
“Black Mirror” Season 6 debuts on Netflix this June. You can watch the teaser below.
Here’s the synopsis:
Expect the unexpected. The long-awaited return of Charlie Brooker’s dark, satirical anthology series which reinvents itself with each new episode. The sixth season of Black Mirror is the most unpredictable, unclassifiable and unexpected yet.
