Armie Hammer Cameos As “Kannibal Ken” in Music Video 4 Years After Cannibalism Claims

Armie Hammer is heading back to the big screen.

More than one year after the Los Angeles Police Department ended their lengthy investigation into the Call Me by Your Name alum over allegations of sexual assault—which he denied—Hammer has landed a lead role in Uwe Boll’s upcoming Dark Knight, E! News can confirm.

First reported by Variety, Hammer—who was also the subject of cannibalism rumors—is slated to play the titular character in the upcoming vigilante thriller, which will begin shooting later this month. News of the 38-year-old’s leading role comes just over a month after he landed a role in an upcoming Western, The Frontier Crucible, alongside Shameless William H. Macy and Thomas Jane

Indeed, Hammer recently opened up on just how booked and busy he’s been.

“I’m turning down jobs,” he gushed on the Your Mom’s House podcast earlier this month. “My dance card is getting pretty full.”
