Netflix is moving forward with Beef Season 2 and the main cast of the show has been announced. That cast includes Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny set to star.The official logline for the new season reads: “A young couple witnesses an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, triggering chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner.”Lee Sung Jin, the creator of the series returns as showrunner, and executive producer. Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, and Jake Schreier also executive produce. A24 is the studio.The second season will consist of eight 30-minute episodes. In the first season, Yeun played Danny, “a down-on-his-luck contractor, alongside Wong who played Amy, a small business owner. The two strangers’ lives converge after they’re involved in a road rage incident. “Over the course of the show’s 10 episodes, the pair’s lives become more and more entangled as their feud consumes their lives.”The series won eight Emmy Awards, including best limited or anthology series.Source: Variety
