Ben Affleck Leaning On Matt Damon Amid Jennifer Lopez Divorce Rumors
There seems to be a lot going on in Ben Affleck’s life right now, but luckily, it sounds like he’s got the full support of his BFF, Matt Damon.
As I’m sure you know, there’s been a ton of speculation that Ben and Jennifer Lopez are headed for divorce after nearly two years of marriage.
On May 19, Entertainment Tonight published reports that the couple is “taking a second to figure out what each of them is going through and wants” amid “tension” in the marriage. This came three days after Jennifer liked a months-old Instagram post about the difficulties of dating someone who lacks “integrity” and “effective communication skills.”
“Jen and Ben have been living separate lives but have not officially separated yet,” the insider began, noting that they are currently “just doing their own thing.”
The insider suggested that J.Lo is “touring houses and shopping around for her own home” as she turns to her “mom, sisters, and kids” for strength. Meanwhile, they claim Ben is seeking support from his inner circle.
Of course, if you know anything about the close friendship between these two, it’ll come as no surprise to hear reports that Ben is getting help from Matt at this time.
Matt — who’s been happily married to his wife, Luciana Barroso, for nearly 20 years — hasn’t experienced quite as much media attention on his love life as Ben has. However, he certainly knows a thing or two about the pressures of public scrutiny as a celebrity.
Last April, while he and Ben were promoting their movie Air, Matt credited his BFF for being a “stabilizing” force in his life as they both navigated intense fame, telling People that their friendship is “everything” to him.
Notably, after the announcement of Ben’s split from his previous wife, Jennifer Garner, made headlines in 2015, Matt was among the first people to reassure the public that his friend was doing OK.

Sisu: Road to Revenge Review: A Blood-Soaked Homecoming
Sisu: Road to Revenge arrives as a bruising, unflinching continuation of Aatami Korpi’s saga—one that embraces the mythic brutality of the original film while pushing its protagonist into a story shaped as much by grief and remembrance as by violence.…
