Born Again Teaser Features Bullseye, Punisher, Kingpin & More
Nov 2, 2024
The first teaser for Daredevil: Born Again has been officially released online, and it’s a doozy for longtime fans of the superhero character. Starring Charlie Cox as the Man Without Fear, the upcoming Disney+ series has him fighting Bullseye once again, as well as teaming up with Jon Bernthal’s fan-favorite Punisher. The Daredevil follow-up appears to be action-packed and delivers exactly what fans wanted since the show’s announcement, if the new footage is anything to go by.
A sizzle for the next few Disney+ projects from the MCU surfaced online this week, revealing 20 seconds of brand-new footage for Daredevil: Born Again. The teaser features quick snippets of Matt Murdock conversing with Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), teasing an alliance of sorts between the former criminal and the beloved lawyer. Meanwhile, Wilson Bethel makes his return as Bullseye after playing the iconic Marvel villain in the original Netflix series. He can be seen fighting Daredevil, a more than exciting tease of what’s to come from the growing rivalry between the powerful characters.
Of course, Jon Bernthal makes his grand return as Punisher in the uber-violent teaser. He appears to be teaming up with Daredevil again, this time taking down baddies together. The footage is very brief, but fans can probably already tell that the Disney+ series will not be holding back on the mature-rated violence. After the series went through a massive creative shake-up midway through production, Bernthal sung the show’s praises, revealing that Daredevil would be more violent than ever before. It’s also a more direct follow-up to the original series, as opposed to a complete reboot of the superhero characters in the MCU.
Marvel Unveils Disney+ Slate Including Daredevil: Born Again
In addition to Daredevil: Born Again, Marvel released a bevy of first looks at the rest of their Disney+ slate. Brand-new footage of Ironheart, Eyes of Wakanda, Marvel Zombies, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, and Wonder Man can be seen throughout. Although the reboot of the beloved Netflix series is what fans are likely most excited about, it seems Marvel Studios is intent on jam-packing 2025 with a complete slate of Disney+ shows. Daredevil: Born Again is out in March 2025, a release date recently announced during New York Comic Con. Disney+ has now blown the lid on their upcoming schedule, announcing select dates of the aforementioned shows in the sizzle reel released.

Disney+ will be starting off the new year with Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man on January 29 before the Man Without Fear returns to the small screen in the spring, March 2. From there, Ironheart hits the streamer during the summer on June 24, then the animated Black Panther spinoff Eyes of Wakanda arrives on August 6. Meanwhile, Marvel Zombies comes just in time for the spooky season in October, and Wonder Man looks to introduce fans to a new side of the MCU in December 2025. After letting go of the gas in 2024 and only releasing a select few MCU projects, Marvel Studios is going full-throttle for their television series output next year.
