He has such a unique storytelling and filmmaking style and there’s no doubt that he’ll deliver well-made high-quality series.The subject matter of the series is filled with dark and gritty themes and tones, which is perfect for Fincher and his style. It’s also similar to Fincher’s 1997 thriller The Game, which revolves around real-life people becoming unwitting participants in a diabolical game.Netflix has a long relationship with Netflix developing projects for them like House of Cards, Mindhunter, and the animated series Love, Death and Robots. He also directed Mank and The Killer for the streaming service. Squid Game Season 2 is set to be released on December 26th. It was also renewed for a third and final season.
