Dominique McShain, TikTok Star, Dies of Cancer at 21
Apr 24, 2025
The TikTok community has lost a beloved member: Dominique McShain.
The content creator died at age 21, one year after she was diagnosed with incurable colon cancer, according to People.
Just weeks earlier, the internet personality—who documented her treatment in hopes of boosting awareness of her illness—shared what she described as her “final update” before her death, explaining that she had entered “end-of-life care.”
“I’ve recently been given a prognosis about five days ago of only a few days to a few weeks to live,” she wrote in a post on Instagram April 6. “My liver is failing rapidly to the point of jaundice and the cancer is progressing quickly. Because of this, I’m no longer able to receive any treatments, including the chemo I’ve been on for seven months over last year.”
E! News has reached out to a rep for Dominique for comment but has not heard back.
Despite the devastating outcome, Dominique highlighted that she had “squeezed every bit out of” her short life, from traveling the world to exchanging vows with her husband Sean Suson in July.
