Elisabeth Moss’ New FX Thriller Series From Steven Knight Debuts April 30

How far will one woman go to stop a disaster?” The Veil” contrasts two distinct characters. One is set on a deadly path that could lead to a global crisis, while the other seeks to stop her plans by any means necessary. Elisabeth Moss stars in the FX Productions drama and is also an executive producer under her Love & Squalor Pictures banner. Yumna Marwan, Dali Benssalah, and Josh Charles round out the cast.

The project features a celebrated name in drama. “Peaky Blinders” creator Steven Knight writes the series and acts as executive producer. The in-demand creative has several projects outside of “The Veil.” One of the most anticipated is an upcoming “Star Wars” film featuring the return of Daisy Ridley as Rey.

FX’s The Veil explores the surprising and fraught relationship between two women (Moss and Yumna Marwan) who play a deadly game of truth and lies on the road from Istanbul to Paris and London. One woman has a secret, the other a mission to reveal it before thousands of lives are lost. In the shadows, mission controllers at the CIA and French DGSE must put differences aside and work together to avert potential disaster.
A tense chase unfolds in “The Veil.” The first two episodes debut on Hulu on April 30. New episodes premiere each Tuesday. The series will also be released on Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in other territories. Get your first look at the trailer below.
