A Peacock original, the updated one-hour drama series offers a new perspective on Will’s (Jabari Banks) complex move from the streets of West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the wealthy gated mansions of Bel-Air, California. While Will’s new neighborhood is much safer than the one he left behind, he struggles to figure out where he belongs. As his worlds collide and he’s given a second chance to improve his future, he’s conflicted about how to reconcile his emotions. As he navigates the conflicts and biases in a new world vastly different from the one he’s used to, he’s forced to figure out his own path forward.
As the series enters its third season, school is out for the summer, and Will has seemingly found his place in Bel-Air. After becoming a part of the Banks family, he’s been given a new perspective on life and has realized his new privilege affords him the opportunity to dream bigger than ever before. As a result, he now has the chance to lean into his interests with full force. As he makes an exciting pivot, he discovers a partner in Carlton (Olly Sholotan).
