EXPEND4BLES, the fourth entry in the hit Expendables franchise, is set to hit theaters 13 years after the debut of the first film. Longtime leads Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture are back once again as the series’ signature crew of elite mercenaries, but there’s a twist. A whole new batch of team members—the “New Blood” of the franchise—joins the fray in EXPEND4BLES, bringing new moves, new personalities, and of course, new conflict.
Thanks to the new arrivals, the EXPEND4BLES cast of characters has grown so much that two separate posters are being released for the film. Prior to the release of the new Red Band trailer for the movie, Screen Rant is happy to debut a selection of “New Blood” posters for EXPEND4BLES, featuring 50 Cent, Megan Fox, and more. The “Old Blood” versions can be found on Collider. See the EXPEND4BLES “New Blood” posters below:
More About EXPEND4BLES
A number of actors have left The Expendables lineup over the years, but EXPEND4BLES is bringing in more than enough firepower to push the franchise forward for years to come. As seen on the “New Blood” poster, Megan Fox, 50 Cent, Andy Garcia, Levy Tran, Jacob Scipio, Iko Uwais, and Tony Jaa have joined the longtime franchise veterans to inject just a little more adrenaline into an already high-octane series. Together, these actors help bring multigenerational appeal to EXPEND4BLES, as well as a highly diverse collective skillset.
While actors like Megan Fox, 50 Cent, and Andy Garcia bring even more name and face recognition to EXPEND4BLES, additions like Iko Uwais and Tony Jaa are just as exciting for their martial arts and stunt pedigrees. The Expendables franchise is known in part for its satisfying mix of big personalities and even bigger action (and sometimes swapping the two), so it’s encouraging that the New Blood includes top-tier talent on both ends of the spectrum. How well the new and returning EXPEND4BLES take to one another will be seen when the movie hits screens in September.
EXPEND4BLES releases in theaters on September 22nd.
