To prepare for the release of Fallout on April 11, Prime Video and Vault-Tec are bringing fans ‘the greatest giveaway in the history of the end of the world,’ an epic giveaway with everything you’ll ever need to be prepared for all potential apocalypse scenarios. You can visit the contest website here and check out the announcement video above — it’s a good one. Read on for more information, and check out the synopsis for the series below:
“Based on one of the greatest video games of all time,
Fallout
is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them above.”
Since Fallout is a post-apocalyptic title, the giveaway is centered around two survival-based prize packs, The Vault-Dweller Pack and The Wastelander Pack. You’ll need to have social media in order to participate (and get involved with some fun activities), and find @FalloutOnPrime. You can see the prizes below:

The Fallout Series Is More Than Fan Service
Fallout Release Date April 11, 2024 Seasons 1 Studio Amazon Studios, Kilter Films, Bethesda Game Studios Creator Geneva Robertson-Dworet
Unlike many video game adaptations, Fallout is intentionally different from its source material and will be an original story. Director and producer Jonathan Nolan (Inception, Westworld) understands that an adaptation doesn’t have to be faithful, and can embrace the unique qualities of the cinematic medium rather than only pander to what people have already experienced. As Nolan said at a press event:
I don’t think you really can set out to please the fans of anything. Or please anyone other than yourself. I think you have to come into this trying to make the show that you want to make and trusting that, as fans of the game [ourselves], we would find the pieces that were essential to us… and try to do the best version.
You can see that “best version” for yourself when Fallout is released on Prime Video April 11. You can watch it through the link below, and check out our interview with star Walton Goggins:
