Amid the rumors that The Mandalorian and The Last of Us star Pedro Pascal was being tapped for the role of Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic in the MCU’s Fantastic Four, renowned artist BossLogic imagined what that might look like. Giving Pascal the gray temples that the Marvel character is associated with, as well as giving him a beard and a blue suit, the artwork could just be enough to persuade those harboring doubts over how well the actor would fare in the role. Check out the artwork from BossLogic below:

Reports have been circulating for some time that Pascal had signed on the dotted line to lead the Fantastic Four reboot. While scheduling was thought to maybe be a factor, with the actor currently signed on to continue to lead both The Last of Us and The Mandalorian, as well as starring in several big screen projects including Gladiator 2, it all worked out, evidently. Thanks to his roles in the Star Wars series, the HBO series, and the likes of Game of Thrones, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Wonder Woman 1984, and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Pascal has quickly become one of the most sought-after talents in Hollywood.

Who Else Will Star in the MCU’s Fantastic Four?

The rest of the cast that will make up The Fantastic Four are Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning and Napoleon star Vanessa Kirby, who will star in The Fantastic Four as Sue Storm, aka The Invisible Woman; The Bear star Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who will star as Ben Grimm, aka The Thing; and Stranger Things breakout star Joseph Quinn will portray Johnny Storm, aka The Human Torch.

Again, amid rumors, Kirby addressed the idea directly several times, expressing her gratitude over being considered for the role in Fantastic Four.

“It would be an honor, it would be an honor to play Sue Storm,” Kirby said when asked about the potential of joining the MCU. “She’s amazing, so it would be a complete honor.”

Plot details for the Fantastic Four reboot are currently unknown, though Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has revealed that it will not be an origin story.

“A lot of people know this origin story. A lot of people know the basics. How do we take that and bring something that they’ve never seen before? We’ve set a very high bar for ourselves with bringing that to the screen.”

Fantastic Four
is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2025, as part of Phase Six of the MCU.
