Golden Globes Inks Exclusive Partnership With Polymarket

Jan 13, 2026

The Golden Globes has inked an exclusive prediction market partnership with Polymarket.

The awards show will be the first program to feature real-time market-driven insights across live events.

The deal, with the world’s largest prediction market, will bring integrated branding and market insights, designed to enhance audience engagement, to the official 2026 Golden Globes viewing party.

“The Golden Globes have long been a place where audiences debate and predict what will happen next,” Polymarket founder and CEO Shayne Coplan said in a statement. “Polymarket reflects those expectations through markets spanning entertainment and culture, and this partnership brings that perspective directly into one of awards season’s biggest moments. By pairing cultural debate with market-based probabilities, we’re giving fans a new, more interactive way to follow the show as it unfolds.”

Penske Media Corporation president Craig Perreault added, “Our partnership with Polymarket unlocks a groundbreaking new frontier, redefining how audiences engage with and connect to the content they love. Deepening the connection between fans and their favorite films, shows and actors strengthens the entertainment industry and highlights the award-winning content celebrated at the Golden Globes.”

The 2026 Golden Globes, hosted by Nikki Glaser, is set to take place Sunday, Jan. 11 from the Beverly Hilton airing live from 8 p.m.-11 p.m. ET/5 p.m.-8 p.m. PT on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.

One Battle After Another leads this year’s film nominations with nine nods, followed by Sentimental Value with eight, Sinners with seven, Hamnet with six and Frankenstein and Wicked: For Good with five apiece.

On the TV side, The White Lotus leads with six noms, Adolescence has five and Only Murders in the Building and Severance have four each.

Golden Globes producer Dick Clark Productions is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge that also owns The Hollywood Reporter.
