HBO’s Hit Financial Thriller Series Returns in ‘Industry’ Season 4 Trailer

Dec 25, 2025

HBO’s Industry is returning for a Season 4 next month and an all-new trailer offers more insight into the types of thrills audiences can expect. With both Game of Thrones and, more recently, Succession coming to an end, HBO always seems to be on the lookout for the next breakout drama that can keep the network at the top of the conversation among TV audiences, and while Industry might not have become the replacement for any formerly concluded series, this next season could be what takes the show over the top. Industry Season 4 premieres on HBO on Jan. 11. HBO describes the new season:
At the top of their game and living the lives they set out to have as Pierpoint grads, Harper (Myha’la) and Yasmin (Marisa Abela) are drawn into a high stakes, globetrotting cat-and-mouse game when a splashy fintech darling bursts onto the London scene. As Yasmin navigates her relationship with tech founder Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington) and Harper is pulled into the orbit of enigmatic executive Whitney Halberstram (Max Minghella), their twisted friendship begins to warp and ignite under the pressure of money, power, and the desire to be on top.

Season 4 will also star Ken Leung, Miriam Petche, Sagar Radia, Toheeb Jimoh, Charlie Heaton, Amy James-Kelly, Roger Barclay, Andrew Havill, Kiernan Shipka, Kal Penn, Jack Farthing, Stephen Campbell Moore, Claire Forlani, and Edward Holcroft.
‘Industry’ Keeps Getting Better

HBO, 2020

HBO has a history of offering audiences compelling stories in various genres that not only become hits with viewers at large, but also earn critical acclaim and various awards. Created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, former investment bankers, the series brought an air of authenticity that other shows couldn’t offer, but with a few dozen reviews, Industry’s first season only sits at 76% positive reviews on aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes. Season 2, though, jumped to an impressive 96% positive, only for Season 3 to somehow best itself by scoring 98% positive reviews. For as acclaimed as a series like Succession might be, it only ever topped out at 97% positive reviews. At this point, Industry hasn’t secured quite as much attention as other prestige dramas out there, but with the momentum the series has been building, Season 4 could be the storyline that brings the program to new heights. It was, though, nominated for a Critics Choice Award for Best Drama Series and The New Yorker named it the best TV show of 2024.

With HBO announcing Industry would be getting a Season 4 late into the Season 3 run, we might not know until closer to the Season 4 finale if this will mark the end of the program.
