After all the excitement from the weekend, come Sunday afternoon it was hard to believe I still hadn’t even attended the big game.. I was exhausted but ready to watch Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs cement themselves in history. After the game, I was granted access to the post-game interview rooms where Coach Shanahan, Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, Nick Bolton, and more spoke with the press. There’s just something about watching a Black quarterback take over the league that just makes me all warm and bubbly inside. Or maybe those were the shots.
