An actor who never disappoints, it’s a blast to see him doing everything he can to protect his family by taking down the bad guys.

Shot in Berlin, Retribution is a remake of the 2015 Spanish action adventure crime thriller El desconocido, starring Luis Tosar and directed by Dani de la Torre. One morning, while driving his kids to school, Matt receives a phone call from a mysterious voice. The caller tells Matt that there’s a bomb under his seat, which will detonate if he does not complete a series of tasks.

Matt is trapped in his car with his children, and he must follow the caller’s instructions if he wants to save their lives. The caller’s instructions become increasingly dangerous, and Matt must race against time to complete them. The stakes are high and Matt must use all of his skills and resources to protect his family. He must also face his own fears and limitations in order to save the ones he loves.

Retribution is directed by Nimród Antal, who’s known for his work on films such as Vacancy and Predators. While Liam Neeson headlines, the film also stars Noma Dumezweni, Lilly Aspell, Jack Champion, Embeth Davidtz and Matthew Modine.

The film is a tense and suspenseful ride and Neeson delivers another great performance with an excellent supporting cast.
