Summary
Exciting Netflix trailer reveals upcoming seasons of Bridgerton, Squid Game, and The Umbrella Academy, as well as feature-length films like Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F and Hit Man. Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F brings back Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, who teams up with his daughter and old pals to uncover a conspiracy. Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon sequel, Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver, continues the sci-fi saga, while Hit Man has received critical acclaim.
Netflix has released a trailer for its upcoming slate, including first looks and new looks at some of its serial hits, such as Bridgerton season three, Squid Game season two, and the final season of the superhero series The Umbrella Academy, and its feature-length debuts, such as Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver, the long-awaited action sequel Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, and the critically acclaimed Hit Man starring Glen Powell and Adria Arjona.
Fans have been waiting for three decades for the return of Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, with Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F finally bringing the character back to screens this year. Thus, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F will see Axel Foley return to Beverly Hills after his daughter’s life is threatened. She and Foley team up with her ex-boyfriend, and his old pals John Taggart and Billy Rosewood to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy.
Directed by Mark Molloy and starring Eddie Murphy, Taylour Paige, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser, and Kevin Bacon, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F is all set to land on Netflix later this year.
As for the return of Rebel Moon, Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver will continue the epic sci-fi saga that began with Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire last December. The streaming platform clearly has a lot of faith in Snyder and his new SnyderVerse, with the sequel likely just the start of the Rebel Moon franchise. Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver is scheduled for release on April 19, 2024.
Hit Man, meanwhile, saw huge acclaim after debuting at the 80th Venice International Film Festival last year, with Netflix eventually winning the bidding war for this action-comedy tale of a professional killer who breaks protocol to help a desperate woman trying to flee an abusive husband and finds himself falling for her. Hit Man currently stands at 96% on the review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes and is due to land on Netflix on June 7, 2024.

The Umbrella Academy, Bridgerton & Squid Game Season 2 Will Land on Netflix in 2024
The serial slate for Netflix this year is looking equally stacked, with the fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy all set to end the warped superhero series. Starring Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, and based on the Dark Horse comic by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, the last season of The Umbrella Academy will pick up following the events of season three, which ended with a literal pushing of the reset button, with the Hargreeves emerging in a new world controlled by their father, Reginald, and with no superpowers.
The pop culture phenomenon that was Squid Game will also return for a second season, with the show expected to pick up with Lee Jung-jae as Seong Gi-hun, who was last seen heading back into the fray in order to bring an end to the merciless games.
This year, Netflix will also bring audiences the third season of Bridgerton, the second season of Outer Banks, The Diplomat, 3 Body Problem, Avatar, Back in Action, Atlas, and much, much more.
