As seen in the trailer, “Constellation” tells the story of an astronaut who experiences an accident while in space. And when she arrives back on Earth, she notices things aren’t exactly how she remembers them. Her house isn’t familiar, for example. But worst of all, her daughter doesn’t seem to be the same little girl. Also, to make matters even more confusing, there’s discussion about a device that went into space too, and a mysterious older man who might be involved somehow.
“Constellation” stars Noomi Rapace, Jonathan Banks, James D’Arcy, Julian Looman, William Catlett, Barbara Sukowa, and Rosie and Davina Coleman. The series is directed by Michelle MacLaren, Oliver Hirschbiegel, and Joseph Cedar.
“Constellation” debuts on Apple TV+ on February 21. You can watch the trailer below.
Here’s the synopsis:
Created and written by Peter Harness (“Wallander,” “The War of the Worlds”), “Constellation” stars Rapace as Jo – an astronaut who returns to Earth after a disaster in space – only to discover that key pieces of her life seem to be missing. The action-packed space adventure is an exploration of the dark edges of human psychology, and one woman’s desperate quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel and recover all that she has lost.
