Pregnant Cardi B Asks Offset for Child Support Amid Divorce

Aug 5, 2024

Cardi B wants her ex to help offset the costs of raising their kids.

In her recent divorce filing against her estranged husband Offset, the pregnant “WAP” rapper asked for primary custody of their kids and for him to pay child support.

Cardi and the Migos alum—parents to daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 6, and son Wave Set Cephus, 2—are “expecting their third child later this year,” the court documents, submitted Aug. 1 and obtained by E! News, confirm.

Offset—who is also a father to kids Jordan, 14, Kalea, 9, and Kody, 8, from previous relationships—has not responded to his estranged wife’s divorce filing in court.

E! News has reached out to Offset’s rep for comment but has not heard back.

Cardi (real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) is also requesting that the court order that any property acquired by her or Offset during their more than six-year marriage be distributed equitably.

The petition states that for the past six months, the 31-year-old and her husband, 32, (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus) have “experienced irreconcilable differences that have caused the breakdown of the marriage” and that “there is no reasonable prospect of reconciliation” between them.
