Lindsay has talked before about how she’s choosing to believe that everything happens for a reason, telling E! News in June, “I’ve learned that the universe has its own plan for me, so I’m just letting the universe guide where it wants me to go.”

She also explained her desire to keep her boyfriend private, adding, “I’ve also learned from my past mistakes in being too public with every step of my relationships.”

So for now, she is going to enjoy her “incredible man” on her own terms.

“We have a very sweet, caring and loving relationship,” she told E!, “that I truly cherish.”
