Prime Video’s Series With Donald Glover & Maya Erskine Premieres On February 2, 2024

After a string of delays, one of Prime Video‘s most anticipated series finally has a release date. That’s right, all eight episodes of “Mr. And Mrs. Smith” will premiere on the streamer on February 2, 2024. Based on the 2005 movie of the same name, Prime Video’s series reimagines Doug Liman‘s film with Donald Glover and Maya Erskine as the leads: a married couple who also happen to be super spies.

Here’s an official synopsis for “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” courtesy of Prime Video:
In this version of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, two lonely strangers land jobs working for a mysterious spy agency that offers them a glorious life of espionage, wealth, world travels, and a dream brownstone in Manhattan. The catch? New identities in an arranged marriage as Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Smith. Now hitched, John and Jane navigate a high-risk mission every week while also facing a new relationship milestone. Their complex cover story becomes even more complicated when they catch real feelings for each other. What’s riskier: espionage or marriage?
Along with Glover and Erskine, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” also stars Parker Posey, Wagner Moura, Michaela Coel, John Turturro, and Paul Dano.
Glover co-creates “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” with Francesca Sloane. They also lead the show’s executive producing team, including Yariv Milchan, Arnon Milchan, Jenny Robins, Michael Schaefer, Stephen Glover, Anthony Katagas, Hiro Murai, and Nate Matteson.
